Why Autism Is A Multifaceted Disease.

I believe that autism is a multifaceted condition and does not have one singular cause.

Autism is not a life sentence, and it is not a label.

Every person on the autism spectrum is a phenomenal human being worthy of the best care and support available.

To help autistic individuals live fuller, richer lives, it is important to expand your thinking to include a broader perspective.

I hold a different approach to alleviating the symptoms of autism, and my autism mentorship programme is designed to understand the wide range of aspects which could be affecting the neurological symptoms seen in autism. My goal is to aid your acceptance and understanding of these aspects, and in turn address the root cause of what might be causing problematic behaviour.

Based upon scientific rationale and personalised data, my mentorship encompasses a range of topics and acts upon individualised and specific health needs.

Step one is to quantify, and from this quantification we can efficiently work together to improve and implement change. My holistic autism treatment plans are developed based on the results of quantitative medical testing. Each child has an individualised medical and therapeutic plan which is constantly revised to assure the best results.

To be able to address autism in the best way possible; individualised, evidence-based diagnostic and treatment plans are established by investigating the genetic, biochemical, and lifestyle factors that can affect disease progression.

I believe that if the biochemical cause of the symptom is identified with precision utilising scientific data and facts (laboratory studies and evaluations) we can improve the condition and with the appropriate treatment our patient’s symptoms can improve.

I integrate protocols that will stimulate the body’s processes to achieve their full capacity in a whole-body wellness environment while decreasing stress and stress-related negative effects on the body. The commitment and compliance with treatment protocol are critical to achieving success.

The philosophy of this programme is: Brain, Mind, Health

This programme will intervene in all areas that are affecting the patient’s progress such as their physical, medical, emotional, family and school aspects of life.

Possible causes of autism can include:

  • Waste toxins from bacteria and parasite infestations that are interfering with the child's brain development

  • 'Leaky Gut', IBS and other gastrointestinal tract issues

  • Imbalances of the gut microbiome

  • Underdeveloped Gut-Brain axis

  • Unhealthy maternal microbiome, digestive and health issues of the mother pre and during pregnancy

  • A diet full of allergens such as lectins, gluten, casein and lactose (diary), sugar, soy, artificial colourings and sweeteners, refined processed foods, processed meat and seed oils

  • Vitamin and mineral deficiences

  • Heavy metals

  • Way too aggressive vaccine schedules

  • MSG and aspartame

  • Porous blood-brain barrier

  • High frequency of antibiotic use when young

  • Vitamin B6 and magnesium deficiency

  • Lack of digestive enzymes

  • Yeast and mould overgrowth in the gut

  • Lack of glutathione and therefore exacerbated oxidative stress

  • Impairments to methylation

This is a brief list in the grand scheme of things, and autism can be caused by a mix of things from this list.

My programme intends to dissect each and every cause in that list, plus much more, so that together we can change the lives of those with autism.

Autism is a disorder that responds well to treatment that is holistic and addresses all aspects of the condition. Recent research has shown a benefit for what is considered complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) or integrative medicine that focuses on pairing natural treatment approaches with behavioral therapies and treatments. This approach facilitates a more balanced treatment plan as it allows families, like yours, to treat the individual with autism as just that – an individual affected by autism.
